These are trying days for the first Legion of the Emperor. We face enemies from without, and enemies from within. Ever vigilant, we must destroy those that would seek to end humanity, and cleanse the ancient scars of our chapter.
The traitor Cypher has allegedly been seen operating in the Cassula Sector. These rumours have reached me, Chaplain Brachiel, through various sources, many of which I cannot trust. His past sins are many, and though the information I have received is tenuous at best, I must take my forces and hunt him down.
A lack of information is not our only foe. The Cassula Sector was lost to the Imperium decades ago. On one side the ancient Necrons seek to build a Dynasty there, while on the other a tendril of the Great Devourer consumes world after world, building in numbers and danger.
Nevertheless while few in numbers, we will take with us the might of the Emperor. He is our shield, and we are his blade in the dark. If Cypher is there, I will find him.
