Apologies for not getting as much progress done as I'd hoped for, but time makes a fool of us all. This time round there's a first look at the Penal Legion. It's a pretty standard box of Catachan's with a Cadian officer poking at them with a pointy stick. I won't bore you with a bunch of unpainted standard minis, so here's the test figure... Not sure why I decided to give him a brown lasgun...

Not sure why I decided to give him a brown lasgun instead of my army's standard green. Perhaps they could be older issue that sometimes function as assault instead of the usual rapid fire. Who knows? The more interesting update is this. Rough Riders. So I bought 5 of the SM Scout Bikes and fiddled around with them a bit and a standard box of Cadians. I've represented the hunting lance with a one shot type harpoon contraption. This was the big barrelled gun from the Scout Bike sprue and the antenna from a VOX backpack. The antenna itself has a ridged effect on one end which could conceivably be an explosive charge. Well it looks like that in my mind anyway. As a quick test I threw some paint on the sergeant's bike just to see if I was convinced it fits in with the rest of the army. Anyway, pictures! I'm not going to say Subscribe/Rate because that's pointless. Comments however are always welcome as long as they're constructive. Cheers for now folks, Neil. <- Previous Update Next Update -
